I purchased this book for my daughters. One is 11 and the other is 4. Both loved this book! Both could relate and we have read it over a dozen times in the week I have had it! It is a very inspiring story and little girls of any age can relate! I can’t wait for the next book!!!!

My daughter has requested this book to be read several nights. She loves how the character Mya looks like her. She does not like getting her hair combed because it hurts which she could relate to Mya. The hair oil is amazing! This book is for all brown girls!
